Going to Google

by Jeff Haynie on April 1, 2007 · Comments

I’m following the latest voice industry trend and leaving the company I recently co-founded to join Google. I’ll be working on a super-secret product that was just announced called Google TiSP. In traditional Google style, I can’t really say what I’ll be doing except that I will be moving to China and working out of the Google office there.

From what I know now, it will be related to GFlushâ„¢. I’m very excited, except that I’m a little worried about moving to China and not sure if the success of the product will be long-term. In any regards, I can’t wait to get my hands dirty in this product.

By the way, if you believe any of this crap (literally) well – maybe you should go work for Google, too. Cheers!

Great! I was buying it for about 2 sentences until you said you'd be moving to china - and then I glanced down and saw the toilet. Yea! Free wireless!

Before I figured out it was an April fools joke it didnt make sense to me that Jeff was moving to China as he exceeded the legal height requirements for entry into the country by 3 1/2 inches.
  • Definitely an April Fool's Joke! :)
  • April 1, ? or real ?
